Michael Cochell, ChFC®, CRPC®
wealth management advisor
P: (480) 998-4653 Ext. 13
Passionate about the financial world since I was young, I always knew I would spend my career in financial services. Now, as an investment advisor and retirement planner, I know I am exactly where I should be.
After college, I began working in banking and later real estate financing, both which required the development of corporate relationships. The opportunity to directly impact the financial lives of individuals and families led to me becoming an advisor at JG&A.
As an advisor, I provide a uniquely personal approach to financial guidance for my clients focusing on retirement planning, sophisticated investment solutions, and wealth preservation. I firmly believe that the time I spend to truly understand my clients and our subsequent connection and relationship helps to bring financial solutions with the highest probability of success.
I am committed to educating others in financial wellness and financial literacy across Arizona and beyond. I write for different publications including Arizona Business Magazine and AZ Big Media, have appeared on television, and regularly teach financial education workshops at Arizona companies.
I received an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. I hold the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation through the American College of Financial Services®. The ChFC® is a specialized program that covers advanced tax and retirement planning as well as special needs advising, wealth management, insurance, and more. I am also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), which is a professional financial planning designation awarded by the College for Financial Planning. The CRPC® program provides in-depth knowledge of retirement planning and best practices for creating a "road map for retirement" for clients.
My family is at the core of my life. I have been married for 22 years to my wife who is a reading specialist teacher. My son is attending Arizona State University in the honors program and my daughter is in high school and is involved in fine arts activities. Together we enjoy reading, watching movies, taking trips, and most of all – going to the beach.
The best part of working with clients: Building wonderful relationships and helping to make a difference in their lives.
Favorite places to visit: San Diego and anywhere we can find a beach to enjoy.
But Enough About Me, I’m Ready to Learn More About You.
